Since 1928, our name has been an institution for porcelain and tableware. Between 1955 and 1970, our porcelain bore the "Bavaria Germany" floor brand. In 1997, the strategic orientation was realised with the production of porcelain in foreign production facilities for the Holst Porzellan/Germany brand. In 1998, we supplied the first porcelain items with our own brand "Holst Porzellan" to the German trade. The development of the young brand "Holst Porzellan/Germany" with the philosophy "Porcelain Simple & Strong" began with the creation of a completely independent collection involving international production sites.

Our aim is to realise a good design language as well as maximum functionality and usability for the professional host in the target groups 1.5 to 4.5 stars. We do not make porcelain for the catering trade, but with it. In our opinion, quality in commercial use does not consist of perfection, but of the ideal interplay of stability, function and price. Because porcelain is and remains a kitchen tool.

Today, we set ourselves apart from the market with an independent profile, namely with the development of more stable types of porcelain, independent designs and structures. While crockery is becoming cheaper and worse globally, we see our success in more function, greater longevity and porcelain with its own character. Not cheap, but favourable. Not perfect, but good. Not unique, but consistent.
