There are no other options for serving food other than porcelain! 


 

The consumer in general does not care about different quality classes of tableware and focuses on taste or price factors. In restaurants, cantines or at hotels tableware has to render a service, to secure the gastronomic services and protect the consumer. Most guests and hosts are not aware of that. 

  

Gefahr

 

To eat from woodmelaminebamboo or slate may be innovative and look cool, but for guests this is a catastrophy. Melamine und bamboo, like bioplastics and nearly all different plastic tableware is bound with formaldehyde (see symbol above). Formaldehyde is a highly toxic substance which all of the above named materials at high temperature and through their polished edges transmit on food. Slate is a splinterstone which is that porous that it is not possible to wash it germ-free and still is used in professional gastronomy! Ugh!

The private consumer can decide by himself, how often he changes his towel, cleans his kitchen or uses toxic melamine or dangerous to health ceramics. The commercial consumer has to guarantee his guests and customers a 100% hygienic and flawless care, like it is legally required. Melamine and plastic are bad companies for serving food.

 
 

 
 
 
 

 

The editing N-TV published an impressive study in December 2019. In Germany over 1/4 million necessary food controls in 2018 were not realised due to shaff shortage. Especially affected were Berlin and Bremen. This is the result of an investigation and a survey of around 400 responsible agencies. To point out the danger of using melamine, bamboo and wood we created the video above.
