This item is made of feldspar porcelain, one of the oldest and most proven materials for degusting and presenting food and hot drinks. Because of the high firing temperature and the resulting hardness and density, it is also called hard porcelain. Feldspar porcelain is always oven-safe, suitable for the microwave and dishwasher-safe.
Quality level:
This item is classified into the medium quality level Basic with a ratio of approx. 85/15 a-b-Grade. The glaze is even and shiny. Minor visual faults on the surface do not affect the look-and-feel nor the intended use. At this quality level we compare ourselves with Tognana, Churchill, Kahla, Seltmann, Mitterteich, Vega, Lubiana and other well-known brands in the market.

The series Skagen combines High-Quality Alumina Porcelain with puristic design in bicolor white and noble grey. This line is especially dedicated to the state-of-the-art and modern kitchen and its demand for high multi-function in the smallest of spaces. The shape of Skagen is developed by following the strong Scandinavian Design Avant-Garde of the 1950s.
The plates provide a perfectly flat surface, without losing any serving space to edges or a wide rim. A 90° rising border ensures the food and sauces to remain on the plates and at the same time guarantees the stackability of the plates. Furthermore the plates are easy to grip, which facilitate the general handling as well as the insertion to the guest. Three sizes of plates, one oval platter and two bowls supply the entire menu of the modern kitchen. The combination of white and noble grey tableware in the segment of starters, main courses and desserts offers 132 variations within the series. Furthermore, Skagen can be harmoniously combined with normal porcelain - like the mugs of Ceto line above. The High Alumina Porcelain is manufactured to the highest quality of Holst Porcelain and meets all requirements for the commercial use: thermal shock resistance, microwave safe, dishwasher safe, high edge impact and scratch resistance ... and of course a good price!
