QR Sales Support
We serve the product advice directly to your sales shelf!
With the introduction of the QR sales support on 15 May 2017, Holst Porzellan is the first and so far only company in the German market, who serve the combination of a manufacturer's own online product advice directly to the POS of its stationary partners and dealers. This puts all re-seller in a position to access a complete and comprehensive product advice service without any maintenance effort. In this way, Holst Porzellan guarantees its partners competent end customer advice at all times, irrespective of the product knowledge and industry expertise of the staff on duty.
The QR codes contain the direct URL, i.e. the exact web address of the online-item at our website. They are shown in their original size and can be reduced to 10 x 10 mm, depending on the amount of coded data, so that they can be used as an additional source of information on the price label on the shelves of our resellers' goods.
Many mobile phones, tablets and PDAs have a built-in camera and software that enables the scanning and interpretation of QR codes. Commercially available scanners with built-in QR software are also capable of reading QR codes. In many cases, the sales staff of specialist retailers now also have tablets and iPads at their disposal in order to answer customer questions in a targeted and precise manner.
Using this QR code the sales staff or even your customers can access Holst Porcelains product page directly without searching or typing and receive all the essential information about the item in the shortest possible time during the sales talk. Our eShop advice page provides answers to all questions about size, content, capacity, suitable supplementary and accessory products, subsequent purchases and availability. In addition, all article groups and individual articles from Holst Porzellan are provided with comprehensive product and application advice. Advice-intensive articles are also explained in a lively and clear way with an online sales video. With just one click, our trade partners can obtain all the information they need about a product. 24/7, always there, always up-to-date and free of charge!
A further advantage when calling up our online portal is that our list price is clearly recognisable as a stable price target for the end user and thus any calculated net prices on site or any discounts granted by the stationary dealer are rewarded considerably higher than a price simply printed on the product. In other words: the dealer strengthens his pricing power!
Using the QR-Code function
The use of this QR Code is basically free of charge and license and the code can be used by all our customers and interested parties without restrictions. There are several ways to convert the QR Code to your price tag on site.
1. copy & paste: With a right mouse click on the QR code itself, copy the image (jpg) and place it anywhere on your own labeling system. This process is fast, but may have to be done manually again and again in case of price changes.
2nd Referring URL: With a right mouse click on the QR code, copy the web address of the code and insert it as image source in your labeling system. The QR address remains static at Holst Porzellan, so that you can always access our QR code without additional effort even after price changes.
3rd QR by Order: Request your individual price labels from Holst Porzellan for shelf labelling of the listed goods. In addition to the list price and QR, we integrate the customer's own article number into the label itself. The following self-adhesive label size is available as standard: 5.5 x 2.5 cm. We are also happy to produce special formats according to your wishes. We particularly recommend a shelf-clip system from the Meyer company, which we supply to you ready to plug in (for a fee). 4th database download: All QR codes of the gastronomy stock assortment are available to our customers in an online database from 01.04.2017. Using the list view, you can download individual articles, entire series or product groups in bundles and read them into your system. Extensive tests with customers and end users in our factory outlets have shown that the use of the QR Code as a sales support for our products is being applied with increasing tendency and represents a considerable relief for the sales staff while increasing their competence at the same time. Apart from this, this dealer support is innovative and has proven to increase sales.
