New prices up from 1. Januar 2024
Although prices for energy, raw materials and labour are rising worldwide, we at Holst Porzellan have managed to announce what is now a very rare price correction.
Only very few items will become more expensive, the rest will remain as they are or become cheaper!
Hardly any other porcelain brand than Holst Porzellan has been able to keep its prices stable since 1 May 2022. We have managed that. With the help of many factors, we have succeeded and we have not planned any price increases for the coming year 2024 either. Due to global instability, we cannot guarantee this, but it is our firm intention.
The prices valid on 1 January 2024 will remain valid until 31 July 2024.
Of course, the production and transport costs of our porcelain have also risen. Our employees have also received inflationary support and we have continued to invest in new items and moulds. And of course we are paying the new, high tolls and bearing the generally rising cost burden.
But..., our internal cost management with a radical renunciation of all costs that do not serve direct sales success and thus survival, including
- Extension of the exhibition stop for all trade fairs and product shows
- No new appointments to sales management 2022-2025
- Training stop for Z-generation trainees
- No successor catalogue for the HP11 for the year 2023/2024
- Standardisation of digital data exchange with our dealers
- Restoration of applicable resale conditions
- Reduction of business trips and customer visits
- Massive restriction of the quotation system
- One-shift service in the warehouse and logistics
- Radical reduction (sell-off) of remnants and 2nd choice
- Voluntary waiver of management bonuses and salary increases
- Shareholders waive dividend payments
- No interest burden due to bank or external loans
