Porcelain inspiration for the strawberry season - serving strawberry variations

On the culinary calendar, strawberry season begins after asparagus season. Starting in mid-May, the strawberry season lasts almost four months and ends in August. The high summer months of June and July are the main strawberry harvesting season. The questions "What can you do with strawberries?" or "What is the best way to prepare strawberries?" cannot be answered accurately, as there are countless recipes and preparation methods for strawberry dishes. Here at Holst Porzellan, we would like to provide you with appealing and suitable serving suggestions for various strawberry dishes in our inspiration section on this summery fruit. The strawberry is much more than just a garnish for a strawberry ice cream - the strawberry is the queen of fruits. The strawberry deserves this name not only because of its flavours and bright appearance. When it comes to healthy, vitamin-rich nutrition, the strawberry is right up there: 100 g of strawberries contain just 32 calories, contain more vitamin C than oranges of the same quantity and provide the body with important fibre, iron and potassium.

Especially in hot weather, strawberry dishes such as strawberry jelly, strawberry mousse or simply strawberries with milk and rusks replace heavy and fatty dishes and not only provide good flavour, but also a light and healthy diet.

Now, we don't want to claim that we produce our own porcelain especially for strawberry dishes, but we do have some items in our collection that are particularly suitable for serving strawberry variations. The two large Auberge porcelain jugs, for example, are ideal for chilling and serving strawberry punch. Classic strawberry tarts are baked in the T0173 (25 cm) and TA174 (28 cm) cake tins and served on the PL30 FA3 cake plate. For a medium portion of strawberry jelly, we recommend the deep MA121 coup plate and for large portions, especially for jelly with rusks, the Maxima MA338 bowls. The GVE080Set bowls are ideal for preparing strawberry quark yourself and keeping it hygienically fresh, as porcelain bowls retain the cold better than plastic or metal bowls.

Prepared strawberry dishes can be easily cooled and transported in the CG Cook & Serve storage containers. Strawberry ice cream and all kinds of strawberry variations in a modern, urban style are served in porcelain bowls with reactive glazes such as our Musgo green, Tierra brown, Carbon black, Coral blue and Granito blue. In our Strawberry inspiration, we present a total of 30 different items that are perfect for serving the queen of fruit in a regal way and not just in boring everyday crockery. Treat yourself to special strawberry crockery for the strawberry season and...
