Pasta, or rather the various types and preparation methods of noodles and spaghetti, is probably one of the most popular dishes in the world, along with pizza. Few foods have as many varieties as Italian pasta: from A for agnolini to Z for zitoni, there aremore than 70 more or less well-known types of durum wheat semolina pasta.
