The relief tableware from Holst Porzellan, beautiful, durable and favourable

The series: In the current collection, Holst Porzellan offers five relief series made from high-quality professional porcelain. The festive Ceremony style mould with its winter motifs, the playful, baroque Sinfonie series, a classic Paris ribbon relief and the two modern lines Melody and Lubin. With this range of shapes Holst Porzellan cover the majority of all taste profiles and offer high-quality relief porcelain at a favourable price.

Production: Alongside openwork porcelain, relief porcelain is one of the fine arts of porcelain production. The fine lines and patterns of the porcelain relief are carefully drawn into the pre-form by hand by the mould maker according to the designer's specifications. A complex manufacturing process then begins with the transfer of the relief to the master mould, from which the production moulds are then made. In traditional porcelain production, all these steps are carried out by hand. Depending on the quality and design of the porcelain relief, a production mould should be replaced after around 60 to 100 pieces of porcelain have been produced, as the depth and shape of the relief pattern wears off very quickly. In this way, each piece of relief porcelain is unique and not a mass-produced item.
