For more than 20 years, the name Holst Porzellan/Germany stood exclusively for professional quality white porcelain. We were the 'porcelaine blanche' of the 1990s and 2000s. This is based on Holst Porzellan's fundamental philosophy that we do not produce fast-moving, fashionable collections because the majority of our customers want to benefit from long after-sales periods. We are convinced that fashion and repeat purchases are not compatible with the favourable price we want to offer in our "Simple & Strong" collection.
Since 2015, we have been offering decorative porcelain that also meets the requirements of sustainability and durability. Above all, our decorative porcelain with reactive glazes on porcelain not only meets today's trend, but also the taste of urban, natural and healthy vegan food in the long term. Incidentally, we are one of the few manufacturers to offer reactive porcelain and not reactive glazes on inferior ceramics or vitreous china.
The cobalt blue "Qing Hua Ci" tableware has been handmade in a manufactory for over 100 years using the sponge underglaze technique. We believe that this Asia line also meets the long-term requirements of a decorative porcelain range.
