This item is made of feldspar porcelain, one of the oldest and most proven materials for degusting and presenting food and hot drinks. Because of the high firing temperature and the resulting hardness and density, it is also called hard porcelain. Feldspar porcelain is always oven-safe, suitable for the microwave and dishwasher-safe.
Quality level:
This item is classified into the medium quality level Basic with a ratio of approx. 85/15 a-b-Grade. The glaze is even and shiny. Minor visual faults on the surface do not affect the look-and-feel nor the intended use. At this quality level we compare ourselves with Tognana, Churchill, Kahla, Seltmann, Mitterteich, Vega, Lubiana and other well-known brands in the market.

Such a covered plate is suitable for the presentation of all dishes in breakfast service, lunch and dinner. The special advantage is the appealing transparency and clarity of this plate cloche and guarantees, in the truest sense of the word, an unclouded view of the dishes presented.
The PC plastic cloche has a fixing lip that extends over the edge of the plate and thus ensures a secure stand on the porcelain plate below. The serving cloche is supported by an approx. 11.5 mm wide inner web, which allows it to be used on all round plates, platters and bowls from 246.2 to 265 mm wide.
The transparent cloche is made of high-quality PC plastic, dishwasher-safe and also suitable for heating food in the microwave. For direct reheating of food, the plastic cloche may be heated up to 90° C. We do not recommend direct regeneration in the Convectomat (combi-steamer). The cloche itself can be stacked and therefore takes up very little space during storage.
