The Skagen series combines high-quality high-alumina porcelain with a purist design and a two-tone colour combination in white and elegant grey. The tableware series is primarily dedicated to young, modern lightness. The design language is modelled on the Scandinavian avant-garde design of the 1950s.
The stringent design of the plates and platters provides a completely flat surface without losing serving space due to the rim or flag. A discreet rim rising at a 90° angle ensures the stability of food and sauces on the flat parts and also serves as a stacking edge, thus guaranteeing perfect suitability for catering. The grip of the plates and platters makes them easy to insert. Skagen offers plenty of space for food - but none for marks. As high-alumina porcelain is up to four times more resistant to impact and mechanical stress, there is no risk of the rising edges breaking under normal use.
Three plate sizes, an oval serving and side plate and two porcelain bowls cater for the entire menu of the young kitchen. Within the series, the combination of the tableware pieces in white and elegant grey offers 132 design variations. Skagen can also be harmoniously combined with classic porcelain, as shown above with the drinking cup from the Ceto series. The high-alumina porcelain is manufactured to the highest quality standards and fulfils all requirements and load criteria for commercial use: thermal shock, microwave and dishwasher safe. Edge impact resistance, scratch resistance, good price!
