Porcelain in open sales displays

Anyone offering porcelain in displays is aiming for the effect of the offer within an existing customer frequency with this type of presentation. This type of retail is generally specialised in mass sales, where price positioning plays a particularly important role. However, regardless of the type and quality of the crockery in such a "self-service display", whether a German premium brand or cheap ceramic crockery, the consumer perceives it as "cheap" and will categorise the item as having a lower value.

We are convinced that genuine hard porcelain is a high-quality product that is produced with a high proportion of human labour, finite natural raw materials and a high energy input. Porcelain is not a cheap product! Especially not the one with the Holst Porzellan/Germany bottom stamp.

Nevertheless, we cannot die in beauty and also produce crockery in such self-service displays (usually in different qualities than our own brand) for the food retail trade, the self-service market and the discount segment, provided the quantities are appropriate.
