Requirements

Basically, it can be said that any "real" porcelain is suitable for applying a finish in a further production step, including a customised logo. Ultimately, every porcelain decoration is the product of a subsequent application of colours or precious metals.

As a rule, vignette porcelain - i.e. OEM goods (original equipment manufacturer) - is used for advertising or representation purposes. Vignette porcelain is particularly widespread as the "house brand" of renowned hotels and catering establishments. But we also know the typical coffee mug as a multiple advertising medium from petrol stations to law firms.

All items from Holst Porzellan/Germany are generally suitable for vignettes and can be finished to the "dishwasher-safe" level.

So take your time to choose what you like from our collection. Once we have produced a vignette, it can also be used to customise individual items in small quantities. If you order 200 coffee mugs with a vignette, we can produce a pourer, a milk jug or even a savings voucher with the same vignette!

The time factors for vignette porcelain

Unfortunately, it is not enough to simply apply a few adhesive images to the porcelain; a large number of work steps and processes are required to refine the porcelain with a decoration or vignette. We can offer you the following basic time frames for rough vignette planning:

- Delivery time approx. 10-12 weeks
- Delivery time approx. 4-5 months

There is hardly anything else or something in between. In other words, either we refine our goods in Germany (approx. 12 weeks) and use white porcelain from Holst stocks. Disadvantage: German wages and German costs are not low.

Or:

You have approx. 5 months for your porcelain decoration. Then we can apply the decoration abroad and save a lot of money. Disadvantage: The minimum order quantity is 2,000 pieces. The exact chronological sequence of a vignette order is explained here in our guide.
